I am a 34 year old IT Professional living in Sydney. Formerly a tournament chess player on the local scene and I have also played overseas. I also previously enjoyed playing blackjack until I picked up poker approximately 14 months ago.
I tend to sit down all day running IT support and development operations so playing squash whenever I can to get in some type of exercise and time with friends is a welcome relief. In fact I used to play a lot of sport and enjoy watching the English premier league and NRL.
I previously spent a fair amount of time playing full ring limit and no limit holdem live cash games. Currently my main forms of online poker are 6-max no limit holdem and Stud8 cash games. I'm trying to get my Omaha8 game started
My favourite poker player is Sammy Farha - he is evil... :)
Over the coming year I look forward to meeting many of the Card Academy members at live events and would like to at least attend the WSOP this year. |
