Starting off in the smallest of online cash games, he has worked himself up to playing 25-50NL but primarily focusing on the biggest tournaments both online and live. In 2005 he made the Semi-Finals of the Party Poker world open and later that year cashed in the 5 diamond WPT at the Bellagio. In 2006 he was one the of the best placed Aussies in the WSOP Main event and in 2007 he won the Melbourne Champs $5200 high stakes events, as well as cashing 3 more times in the 2007 WSOP. Recently he added a final table in the $1000 rebuy event at the aussie millions to his list of achievements.
Online, under the name of RKRUOK he has been one of Australia's best online tournament players, finishing 51st on Cardplayers Online World Rankings in 2007. Back to back final tables in the Sunday Million and Full Tilt million with a few notable wins have been some of the highlights.
Rayan's varying styles and thoughtful play makes him always a challenge on any poker table.
