Nick Nicolaou starting playing poker in 2002 whilst completing a Commerce/Law degree at Macquarie University in Sydney. By the end of 2004 he had made the decision that he wanted to play poker fulltime. Since then Nick Nicolaou has been moving up the limits of the online cash game world and although the majority of his hands are played at $10/$20 NL, he has been known to sit as high as $50/$100 NL.
Nick Nicolaou is a student of the game who has spent countless hours analysing hands and statistics with the aim of formulating optimal short handed cash game strategies. He has been privately coaching players for 2 years and has helped dozens of low limit players graduate into the higher stakes.
Nick Nicolaou has also had success in tournaments where he has numerous cashes in major Australian tournaments. He was runner up in the 2006 NZ Championships and also spent 2 months playing cards in Russia and Estonia during 2006.
