Jethro Horowitz played weekly home-games with family and friends for two years before he was old enough to play in a casino. Jethro’s first casino tournament was in Canberra where he placed second in the main event.
Since then Jethro Horowitz has finely tuned his game to compete in the biggest Omaha HiLo cash games online where he is now one of the biggest, most consistent winners. After playing hundreds of thousands of hands on Omaha HiLo he is considered one of the toughest opponents in these games and has been demonstrating his understanding of the game to Card Academy members ever since.
Jethro Horowitz enjoys traveling the world playing poker and has visited many countries including, Russia, Estonia, the Philippines and the United States. In the United States, Jethro Horowitz placed twice in the World Series of Poker. He enjoyed his time in the Phillipines so much he has spent most of 2007 living there.
Jethro Horowitz is the current 2007 Aussie Millions Omaha HiLo Champion after winning a marathon 6 hour heads up battle to take home the trophy. The win solidified Jethro's reputation as one of the best Omaha HiLo players in the world.
