2007 was a breakthrough year for Grant Levy. His first ever major live tournament was the Aussie Millions Main Event in January where he finished on the bubble. In October Grant finished a solid 3rd in the PokerNews Cup which netted him over $130k. He followed this result up with back to back wins on PokerStars in November for a combined $45000 USD.

In late 2007 Grant Levy was the winner of the PokerStars Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT) Grand Final in Sydney. This result made Grant the first, and only Australian to win $1 million in a tournament on home soil. His performance in this event earnt him a PokerStars sponsorship contract. He will spend much of 2008 travelling throughout Asia and the US playing in some huge tournaments with substantial prize pools.

Grant Levy lives in western Sydney where he plays poker online at PokerStars.
