With 30 players left he held 10% of the chips in play and positioned himself well for an assault on the final table. The final table contained some talent including Gary Benson, Lee Nelson and Martin Comer who all came in with a lot of chips. It eventutally became 3 handed between Lee, Martin and Nick with all 3 pretty much even in chips. Lee raised on the button and Nick reraised from the small blind with 2 black queens. Lee announced all in after some thought and Nick made the call. Lee showed AK and the flop was AKT all spades giving Lee top 2 pair and Nick a gutshot and a flush draw. The turn and river blanked and Nick was out in 3rd place cashing for $6230.
