Card Academy and Hansa Poker have teamed up to bring you the Card Academy League.
Players will face off in 7 events with the aim of accumulating points for the CA League leaderboard. At the end of these events the top 10 players on this leader board will play off in the Card Academy League Final where the winner will receive a $1100 Melb Champs Main Event seat.
The final will be a 10 man SNG with double starting stacks and will be held on Wed 30th April at 8pm.

If you are not a Card Academy member you will need to register for the league by filling out this form , in order to be eligible for the major prize. It is important that you quote your Hansa screen name in that form so that you can be added to the league. In addition you will also need to click on the event you want to play in the schedule above and click 'register'.
The events can be found by looking at the Scheduled tournaments section in the Hansa lobby. Then sort the events by name and look for the Card Academy League listings.The password for each event is CALeague. (Please note that it is case sensitive: Upper case C A L and lower case e a g u e).
Additional prizes such as CA memberships, CA merchandise and bounties on CA instructors may be added to each event. These prizes will be announced on the day of the event on in the CA forums as well as on Poker Network
Points structure
The amount of points up for grabs each week is the amount of players in the event multiplied by 10. The distribution of points is described in the table below:

Players who play in all 7 events will be given a bonus of 50 points added to their total
Terms and conditions
- $1100 seat can be sold to a Card Academy member if winner cannot attend
- Winner of final must have an active Card Academy Gold/Platinum membership by May 20th to claim the prize.
- All buy ins are returned in the prize pool of each tournament.
- All final prizes are added to the prize pool and no money is taken out of the prize pool each week
- Card Academy instructors will not receive leader board points.
